Tradition-wise, I'm a little disappointed with how we spent our holy week... but somehow, I'm also thankful because even though we weren't able to do the way of the cross or have our yearly easter celebration with the rest of the extended family, we were still able to spend this time as a complete family-- and by complete, I mean all four of us living under one roof for a generous amount of time.
So a number of things have happened during the past few days. Since the Qatari internet cards aren't very wallet-friendly, I'll just place pictures up. Sa susunod nalang ako magblog.
By the way, I lost my camera's lens cover in the stupidest way last week. We were walking down the street when a Chinese man (or woman? doesnt matter) suddenly walked past me in a rush, accidentally colliding with the hand I was using to hide my camera inside my jacket for protection-- ironically--- causing the cover to slide off the lens and roll onto the ground. I was about to pick it up when it swiftly rolled into of all places a LESS-THAN-AN-INCH-sized crack that lead to... tadah... the sewer. It was a good thing one of the stores happened to have individual lens covers for sale so we got to make up for the lost one. But it won't be the same. Ah... sayang. That was my favorite camera too.
anyway, we'll be stuck in the happy desert land for 2 weeks. But I guess that's okay. Pictures soon. :)
