Erm okay... the oddest things just happened within the short span of time from my last entry. I was sitting right here and trying to wiggle through all this stupid computer's discrepancies when my dad entered the room and asked,

"Ca, pwede mo ba akong i-draft ng, ah... short speech? Basta yung gumagamit ng descriptive words... doon ako kasi short. I'm short of words... yung, ah, adjectives. For example," he continued, with a tough streak in his voice when he said for example, "yung articulate. Nakabenta siya ng ganito karami {referring to real estate eckaloo (??)} because she was articulate. Ca, ngayon ano ang articulate? Yung maarte... madaldal... that's articulate."

I was nodding my head at him even though I wasn't able to comprehend much due to my sleepiness. Looking back at what he said, he was probably groggy at that time too anyway. Maarte pala ang articulate. Siguro maarte si Marcos (?)... hehe.

But it didn't end there because a few minutes later, while I'd gone down to have a drink, my brother (who's at my lolo's house right now) suddenly called me over the phone.

"Mica, nakita mo na ba yung commercial ng rabbit?"

I suddenly remembered the Softee commercial he was referring to. "Ay, oo... ang---"

"--Cute..." he burst out ahead of me. "Sobrang cute talaga nun..."

"Oo nga... sobrang cute... kamukha ni Icing (deceased rabbit)!"

"Oo, pero magkaiba sila ng kulay ng mata. Ang cute Ca.... ang cute talaga... gumagalaw pa yung nose nun... tapos parang pinangiti pa nila..." he said sentimentally.

"Hehe... cute!"

"Oo nga... wala lang... ano, cute eh. Sige, bye!"


Okaaay.....that was weird. Hehehe. Nakakatuwa especially since my 17-yr-old brother normally enjoys thinking up morbid things to do with animals. And I'd definitely have to agree that the Softee bunny was really very cute but that was just odd. Hehe... what a weird night-ender. Maybe he was groggy too?
