A Belated Happpy Father's Day to all the fathers out there. :-)
Last Saturday night was fun. Part of my extended family and I went to Gloria Maris in Shangri-la to eat dinner (probably as a pre-Father's Day celebration for my lolo) and afterwards, we stayed until midnight to watch a local band perform. The lead singer, whom we ended up coining as "Big Momma" due to her Aretha Franklin voice and stature, used her great voice so powerfully that it rained... hindi lang yung ulan ha, yung tipong kumikidlat-kidlat pa.
Hehehe... nakakatuwa kasi lahat kami nabasa na kahit papano, at nakatakbo na kami sa may tabi ng mga restaurant nila doon eh nakikisabay parin kami. I was even reading my 10++-page essay (with a font size SERIOUSLY no more than one fourth of a mongo bean) homework for Physics in-between the songs. Pero grabe ang saya... and the part I enjoyed the most was that my family enjoyed it too. We waited for the rain to subside a bit while we continued listening to them in the car, where Steph and I danced and went along with all the 80's music because the parking lot was empty anyway (or at least I hope so...). I had so much fun. I'd like to back again once I get a homework-free weekend.
But good things must always come to an end, and it's back to reality again for me today... not that I don't like Mondays... on the other hand I think I actually like them, mainly because our schedule for Mondays this year contains many of my favorite subjects (esp. Ms. Abenes' class). Heheh... ang weird... Monday pa naman ang pinakaayaw ko na araw noon.
I think I'm going to love my homeroom teachers especially this year. I'm really glad our class got Ms. Abenes and Sir Diwa as HR and HR partner, respectively. They're like a mother and son team, and it's like having a second mom and older brother in school when the school itself starts feeling like less of a second home to us. Basta nagugustuhan ko ang vibes nila... something like that. I'm happy that we're given the chance to end our highschool life with the two of them to guide the class throughout the year.
Shoots... kinakabahan na rin ako sa college entrance exams. HINDI PA AKO NAGREREVIEW. Oh poopie... hay... I guess for now, while I'm busy with schoolwork and unable to set the right time for this, I'll have to take my mom's advice again and leave my worries to God first... but only for a while. MUST REVIEW THIS WEEK. (Barron's Sat thingimalooey likes to feast on my eyes. Nakakahilo basahin). Hay hay hay.
I'm sotired... I was writing this while doing our already late lab report (majority of the class hadn't been able to submit on time due to SCHIZO reasons...ahem.. natakot ako dun kanina ah), where I found my head dropping occasionally towards the keyboard. Para akong ewan, I think I was already half-dreaming at that time. Grr... inaantok na ako. :o
