For some reason, I STILL can't post anything in my shoutbox, kaya inalis ko na muna. Hay. Shoutboxes.com is screwing up. Meantime I'm bringing the comments link back up.
Anyway, last Saturday I had my first ACLC area meeting at Payatas. Tiring as it may have been, I still wouldn't have opted to attend the first part of my other org meeting over this. There was just too much to miss--- the innumerable, packed jeepney rides on the way to our area and back to Ateneo, the feeling of perky kids persistently clutching at our hands and/or scrambling to be carried on our backs, the striking and guilt-inducing image of a pajero zooming by a poverty-stricken backdrop, the relief of being able to drink softdrinks from plastic ice bags after long walks under the sun, and the area lunch and processing we had at Chowking--- all of which had been refreshing, particularly since it's been a while since I've ridden on a jeep or went to a similar area for outreach.
After all of that, I had to rush back to ctc to attend training day, and then went home at four exhausted.
This weekend has otherwise been lazy. I spent half of my Sunday just lying on my stomach finishing book 6 (which was INCREDIBLE as always), and today laying around doing nothing. I hate it when this happens! Parang may nakakalimutan tuloy ako, even though I KNOW we don't have any homework. It's scary how old highschool habits have to follow you through college. :p
Please let me find something good to do!
