These past few days have been so devoid of any sleep. =)
FRIDAY
Last Friday, we had an overnight Formation Camp at school for MC-YCLC. Needless to say, I had fun, even though the mosquitoes couldn't stop biting us while we were sleeping. I even counted all the ones on my arm afterwards to find that they were 11 all in all... and then you have the ones on my right arm and my legs. Mosquitoes like me. :) And yes, the formation part seemed promising... I witnessed a few tears, a lot of laughing, and creepiness around the field and balete tree at the grounds. Buti sarado ang third eye ko. Yeeh, I didn't even want to go to the bathroom anymore after 2am.
SATURDAY
Erica and I then headed for home on Saturday, as we were planning to visit the college library to research for English. Pero sa sobrang kakulangan namin sa tulog, we fell asleep at 1pm and woke up at 4, so we ended up with a closed library when we reached school at 5. So we just went to national to look for a book we could afford as one of our sources for english... and we did, so it was all good falling asleep and waking up late and facing a closed library. :o
For the night after that, we visited our lolo, just had a neurosurgical operation in the ICU at st lukes. He was lying on a typical hospital bed, dextrosed and semi-conscious of everything happening around him. After having raised a hand slowly to acknowledge my brother, cousin and I when we entered, his voice was low upon mentioning subconsciously to one of my titas that he wanted to sit up and lean against the wall. It was only at that point when I realized how ironically fragile and strong he actually looked at that moment, and cheesily enough, I felt a jolt upon seeing my two titas watching over on either side of him and trying to take hold of that fragility. Without knowing it, they appeared to me as nothing less than two little girls trying to make sure that their dad was going to be okay, and that really touched me. I'm not very close to my lolo but I love him a lot. I'm just happy he's already going to be okay.
SUNDAY
And then on Sunday, I had my USTET. It was finally easier for a change, but I felt that my drawing test was crappy. :S Hoh well. It's over and done anyway and I'm just glad to be over with all those entrance exams.
Afterwards, we went to Cheska's house to get sources for our paper, and then Erica stayed overnight at our house so we could finish our notecards. After not being able to help it anymore, I told Erica to wake me up after my 10-minute nap from reading all the sources, but then I woke up around 4 hours later to see that she had fallen asleep too. We weren't able to finish the notecards, but I think the brief nap was well-deserved for both of us anyway. School's enough reason for us to crave for a good break from all the eyebags and restless nights.
MONDAY
On Monday, I had P.E. practice at Rosa's house. So ayan. That's how these past few days went, and I swear they left me more tired than they appear to be when you read about them. At isa pa, the stupid annoying bwisitor is here to haunt me like Niagara Falls again, even though it was supposed to end last week. I hate being irregular. Pooey.
Anyway, tomorrow's December and I hope by then I can start feeling Christmas already. For some reason, it just doesn't seem to be there... and I really don't know why.
Agh, things will get better soon.
CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN: 25 Days =D **+*+***. .
