our school-sponsored week has ended...

Wednesday
This Ash Wednesday was basically bombarded with clubwork. Marvi, Cam and I had to take pictures of the Speechfest Finals althroughout the afternoon. We thought we were already doing ok nang biglang tadaaah--- naubusan kami ng battery, kasabay na maubusan ng film si Camille. Buti nalang nakuha naman halos lahat, at may dala pang charger si Marvi, so we were able to illegally charge the batteries before the next event began... the school's variety show!

Sobrang saya neto, I swear! This was a once-in-a-blue-moon event and I really enjoyed because it was just refreshing to see all the teachers and staff out of academic stiffness (?) while showing us what they were really capable of doing outside the classroom. Watching them seriously made me want to return to my school after college graduation to teach as well.

Thursday
Today was teacher's day celebration. Honestly, the whole presentation wasn't as great as I remembered it to be in our previous teacher's day celebrations but I wasn't complaining, because I knew the variety show presentations really made up for this.

Before the celebration ended, we had starlab, which I remember having in grade 6/7. Although the sudden subtle spinning of the makeshift universe made me feel a little dizzy at first, the entire starlab presentation made me feel incredibly small. I wish I had a tent like theirs so I could stargaze whenever I wanted to.

Finally, we had the honors assembly, which I sat through with two cones of dirty ice cream and my late recess. :-) The food HELPED.

Friday
Walang pasok! Upon sleeping before this day arrived, I had a creepy dream that took place in exactly the same bed I was sleeping on. I was sleeping where I was when two invisible "guests" on either side of me started to make deep scary sounds like zombies. Naalala ko hindi pa ako makagalaw, until I forced myself to wake up. Sobrang natakot ako paggising because it seemed incredibly real. I opened the door after that just so I could hear the television and my tita's voice on the other room and feel less alone. Shetepie. Another dream on the same night involved me receiving a folder of my 4th quarter grades... tapos may straight A's... pero puro bagsak sa mga CAT subjects na pangcollege. After that, I walked on to find that my mom was pregnant in my dream. Hehehe, ang weird.

Anyway, at 10am, I finally left home to meet Ate Iris at the CLC office, where we weren't really able to do much because my none of my other cellmates where able to attend.

At 11, I went to Kay's house, where we (Ven, Micay, Kay Candice and I) had an Asian movie marathon. Sobrang astig ni Kay-- she cooked a japanese kish-look-alike dish with barbecue-like sauce that tasted really good, and then she cooked Bulgogi inside the room! Sobrang sarap. Lalo akong nainspire... sabi ko matututo akong magluto ng matino before I get married. I really want to be one of those moms who can cook and bake well (my mom can bake well, but her cooking usually turns out burnt. hehe). **P.S. The Classic is classic!

When I finally got home in the afternoon, I took a nap, only to wake up hours later at 6:30pm to realize that the glee club concert was opening at this time. Fortunately, after dropping my brother, mike and ahmed to sikatuna I was able to arrive almost on time at UP to watch Timeless. (waves to Helen! Haha!) The concert was good, although it proved to be even more timeless because the curtains kept on jamming at the beginning of the cultural classical dance club's performances. Also got to meet Pajoy (my grade 6 classmate... after a long time!) before going home.

Today
I went to Nica's house today for our English project. The rest of the afternoon I've been using up for laying around so far. Gusto ko ulit magmovie marathon. :)

by the way, my judgment week still isn't over. The UP admissions office decided to move the posting of the results to next week. Argh, sana matapos na.
